The Way of Shadows is the first book in the Night Angel Trilogy and I have to say, I can't wait until I get the chance to read the next two in the series. imagine that you are a dangerous man , imagine that you have a soft spot hidden far inside , then imagine you have this awesome power wrapped around you like a second skin. I hadn't heard of him before i read the first book, that changed rather quickly after i read way of shadows and the other two in quick sucession. But while Azoth is the main character, the books spends ample time on a large cast of supporting characters, and there are larger plot elements that are only hinted at in this first book of the trilogy. The world building didn't convince me either. I have one word for you Mr Weeks.......................MOREOct09: This is a darn good book. It balances "boy grows up" with "old master resolves past" it a great way. For Azoth, survival is precarious. don't bother , just read th ebook, read the three of them cos Brent Weeks story blows the mind and imagination of anyone reading. This was very good storytelling. As a guild rat, he’s grown up in the slums, and learned to judge people quickly – and to take risks. You get to escape into a super awesome action flick for the thinking man.It took some time to warm up and for me to like the characters (a few hundred pages) BUT I enjoyed the story enough to stick with it and it payed out. Personally, the book felt a lot like Feist's Magician Apprentice/Master books but a lot darker and grittier. I hadn't heard of him before i read the first book, that changed rather quickly after i read way of shadows and the other two in quick sucession. don't bother , just read th ebook, read the three of them cos Brent Weeks story blows the mind and imagination of anyone reading. Like the rest of the book, it felt rushed. If you would like to share feedback with us about pricing, delivery or other customer service issues, please contact Electrode, Comp-986986623, DC-prod-az-westus-15, ENV-prod-a, PROF-PROD, VER-20.0.28, SHA-2ac4706ff105cdd14e67f119c4507301c62e4762, CID-c6abfae9-af4-173cab74c16d3c, Generated: Fri, 07 Aug 2020 20:57:57 GMT Electrode, Comp-1699a8fa-7a8a-4006-a77b-ed54d16a173a, DC-wus-prod-a3, ENV-prod-a, PROF-PROD, VER-36.5.0, SHA-1e7e562741c42b3e4340c969ae68540802a9ebd4, CID-017c7807-007-173cabbd6a45a8, Generated: Fri, 07 Aug 2020 21:02:54 GMTError: Please enter a valid ZIP code or city and stateScience Fiction & Fantasy Comic Books & Graphic NovelsThis button opens a dialog that displays additional images for this product with the option to zoom in or out. From the gutters of the Warrens to the opulent court at Khalidor, Brent Weeks's epic fantasy THE WAY OF SHADOWS unfolds on the page of this graphic novel adaptation as seen through the eyes of seasoned illustrator Andy MacDonald! But that adds some realism to the story and I was able to figure out enough to keep going. and we have not verified it. Which since the book is about an assassin that should be expected.
